Cabinet Vision Designer & Operator
Crowe’s Cabinets, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cabinet Vision Designer & Operator. We are seeking a Cabinet Vision Designer & Operator to join our Pre-Production team to design and maintain our cabinet vision system to allow drawing of all major products. The ideal candidate will have experience in Cabinet Vision, as well as proficiency or at least exposure to other CAD/ such as AutoCAD, Fusion360, and Alpha Cam. Proficiency with the Cabinet Vision software is absolutely required; we are a fully custom architectural casework manufacturer; we do not manufacture catalog products.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into design concepts.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools to create detailed design specifications and technical drawings.
- Communicate to the Salesperson/Project Manager elements that must be modified due to field verifications, material availability or construction parameters or if there is missing or unclear information.
- Complete tasks in an efficient manner to ensure Production Schedule deadlines are met.
- Reading, and understanding detailed blueprints, shop drawings and field dimension drawings.
- Process drawing revisions as needed.
- Process fabrication documents for programming and cabinet production.
- Ability to multi-task and work within project timelines to meet schedules and closing dates.
- Utilize Cabinet Vision and AutoCAD software to develop accurate and precise technical drawings, fabrication documents and outputs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cabinet construction, material and hardware, construction methods and joinery
Position Requirements
- Min 2 years experience with cabinet vision programing and/or drafting
- Min 2 years experience using AutoCAD or related CAD program
- Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience, preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Attention to detail, highly organized and able to prioritize
- General knowledge of woodworking construction methods or related experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Professional, positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong math skills
