POLAND – Crowe’s Cabinets invested more than $600,000 in its production plant last year to increase efficiency and create a better workplace.
The improvements solidify the Poland company’s infrastructure, increase capacity and set the baseline for expansion, according to co-owners Tim and Diane Crowe.
The investments include a new edge bander that is fully automated and CNC-controlled. An automatic return conveyor was also installed in 2023. The new pieces allow the operator to run parts faster and with more efficiency.
Crowe’s also replaced a high-volume beam saw. The new saw uses technology in terms of the user interface, optimizing additional grooving functions, automated maintenance and calibration functions.
Improvements made to the building include the replacement of the heating and air conditioning system. This not only provides a more comfortable working environment, it also improves the quality of custom products because the materials are fully acclimated to
indoor environments during fabrication.
“Crowe’s Cabinets is not just investing in machinery,” says Tim Crowe. “It is investing in a future where craftsmanship meets innovation, setting the stage for decades of continued success.”
The company last year received the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award, a testament to its commitment to trust, integrity and excellence.
Crowe’s supports Youngstown’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Akron Children’s Hospital of the Valley in Boardman. The company’s latest charitable undertaking is its sponsorship of the Youngstown Nighthawks semiprofessional soccer team.
